Jeffrey

Growing up in a Christian home Jeff was blessed to have parents who were sincere and faithful in their relationship with God.   At the age of five, Jeff inquired to his mom about salvation.  Jeff prayed that day but later sought and received assurance of his salvation at the age of 12.

Jeff grew up in a hard working family that operated a dairy farm and a construction business.  As a young adult, Jeff desired to follow in these successful family businesses.  In 2000, Jeff married Kim.  Together, they served at Fostoria Baptist Church.  Jeff and Kim worked in  a Junior Church ministry and Jeff served as a deacon.

In the fall of 2005, during FBC’s missions conference, God called Jeff and Kim to missionary service.  Shortly after their calling, Jeff, Kim, and their two children moved out of state to attend Ambassador Baptist College in Lattimore, North Carolina in preparation for missionary service.  Jeff and his family served in a small church while in Bible college.

August of 2009, Jeff graduated from Bible college.  Jeff, Kim, and their four children returned to their home church.  Jeff was asked to be on staff and has had opportunity to preach, baptize believers, work with the teens, direct vacation bible school, and wok on a bus route.

Since being called to missionary service, Jeff and Kim have prayed for a field of service and team workers in that field of service.  God has answered their prayers by directing their eyes and hearts to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Kim

Kim trusted Christ to save her at the age of eight after watching the play “Fishers of Men” .  During her teen years she had little opportunity to be discipled and to exercise her faith.  As a young adult, Kim sought for and received the assurance of her salvation.

In 1998, Kim moved from New Hampshire to Michigan.  She became a member at Fostoria Baptist Church.  During this time she met Jeff and they were married in June of 2000.  After being married, Kim served the Lord with Jeff in their local church.

When God was calling Jeff to missionary service, He was also speaking to Kim through a passage in I Kings.  Together they share the burden and calling to serve God as missionaries.

Kim has experience in the Gospel ministry serving as youth sponsor, Sunday School teacher, group vocalist, bus worker, nursery worker, VBS teacher, and discipleship instructor.

God has blessed Jeff and Kim with four children, two boys and two girls.  Kim is a godly, diligent wife and mother.  Kim plans to help in the ministry by being a wife, mother, and ladies and children's servant leader.
